I believe we are here to look after each other, including those who are different to us. I make art to connect with people I will never meet. Each piece is a statement about what I see and a question about what they see, to share in our common humanity. I live in an age when the earth faces an environmental and humanitarian crisis through man-made global warming, and art is the most direct way I know to reflect my time and place using colour, shape and writing to support those who work towards making the world cool again for our grandchildren. According to the experts, we can achieve this if we all work together.
