A second version of an interior view to evoke the feeling of a comfortable old café, with mixed up, used furniture, where you might go for Sunday coffee to read the papers. It was painted from a photograph and sketches; the chairs represent the people who are not in the picture. This version is painted on a red coloured ground, which grins through the overpainting. This painting is gloss varnished on the face of the canvas. Available through Artists’ Support Pledge.
